Founded in 1955 by Edward and Margery Hynes as a small electronic parts supplier, Hynes Electrical Supply Co. quickly grew alongside the needs of its customers. As technology advanced and demand expanded, Hynes evolved into a full-line electrical supply company—while staying true to the family values it was built on.

A New Beginning
In 1999, we moved into our current home on Hammond Lane in Plattsburgh. Our 25,000-square-foot facility, situated on 7.5 acres, allows us to maintain the inventory and resources needed to support contractors, businesses, and DIYers alike. This space has played a key role in helping us grow while continuing to deliver fast, reliable service.​
